The atelier
We built Aurélio to slow the industry down.
Most salons are engineered for volume full books, fast turnovers, a chair never empty. We chose the opposite. Every stylist at Aurélio holds a limited number of guests, so preparation, not speed, defines the visit.
It began in 2011 with a single rented room and a conviction that beauty work is easier to trust when it isn't rushed. Thirteen years on, that room has become a studio of six private chairs but the pace, deliberately, has not changed.
